The Perfect 7 Day Adventure in Maui, HI

Introduction

This summer, we did a week-long trip to the island of Maui in Hawaii. It was actually my first time in Hawaii, and we chose Maui because of all the wonderful things people say – that Maui is a such a beautiful island. And it was so true because everywhere you go, it’s just scenic all around here. Haleakala and Road to Hana are probably the most famous destination for visitors, and my personal favorite was just driving around the island, where both mountains and the vast ocean meet, and all worries vanish in front of that beauty.

A Two-Day Trip to Giverny & Versailles

Introduction

If you are in town for Paris, I recommend venturing outward and spending a day in Giverny and a day at Versailles. As much as I adore Paris (and hopefully will finish compiling my Paris notes soon!), there is also so much to see outside of the city. Giverny and Versailles are top of the list, both due to the ease of getting there as well as the refreshing perspectives they give. I did this trip over a weekend as a solo traveler, and it was one of the most memorable weekends during my time in Europe!

A Few Summer Days in Montreal & Quebec City

Introduction

Located in Canada’s predominantly French speaking province, Québec, Montréal and Québec City are both beautiful and historic. Montreal has a metropolitan vibe with cool urban projects such as Underground City and Habitat 67, and combined with the cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal, becomes a vibrant and charming city. Quebec City, on the other hand, is romantic with the Château Frontenac, the impressive Citadelle, distinct streets of Champlain filled with florals, bistros and European charm.
